A Garage Sale Find is the Perfect Dish to Make Susan's Homemade Baked Beans

                                             Stoneware Covered Casserround
I bought at a garage sale.

I found this Rachael Ray Stoneware Covered Casserround at a garage sale this past season.   I was excited since I had picked up a couple of other Rachael Ray utensils at other garage sales and liked them. This casserround is about $35.00 in the store.  You know I didn't even come close to playing that at a garage sale.

The other night I decided I would make my sister-in-law, Susan's Homemade Baked Beans.  I would be serving them the next night to some friends.  These beans are best when they are made ahead and have time for the flavors to meld together.  This is a very easy recipe.

This recipe is for a large crowd.  I was not serving a large crowd so I decided to half the recipe.  That is how I decided to use my garage sale Rachael Ray Stoneware Covered Casserround.  It seemed to be the perfect size.

Here are the ingredients that you'll need:

Dump ALL ingredients into the Baking Dish

                                Ready to Bake

Susan's Homemade Baked Beans Recipe:

2 (48 oz) jars of Northern White Beans (drain a little liquid off the top)
1 onion (chopped)
1 cup Ketchup
1 tsp. yellow mustard
3/4 cup Brown Sugar
3 pieces of Bacon (cut into pieces)
Mix ALL ingredients together.  Bake uncovered 400 degrees for 1 hour

Just out of the oven!  Enjoy!
