Best Oriental Salad Recipe

Best Oriental Salad with Ramen Noodles (No Season Packets)

      Here are the ingredients that you'll need:

Start with a bowl of Cole Slaw

This is the Ramen Noodles, Almonds and Sesame Seeds 

Cook the sauce and oil on stove

Must be cooled in fridge before pour onto salad

This is ALMOST complete need to add the Ramen Noodles 

Best Oriental Salad Recipe:
1 (16 oz) bag of prepared coleslaw mix
1 bunch green onions (chopped)
3-4 Tbsp Butter
2 pkg. Ramen Noodles (any flovor) ~discard season pack
4 Tbsp. Sesame Seeds
1/2 cup Sliced Almonds
2 Tbsp. Soy Sauce
1/4 Cup White Vinegar
1/2 Cup Sugar
3/4 Cup Vegetable Oil
In large bowl put in coleslaw mix add chopped green onions.  Chill.
Break up the Ramen Noodles and brown them in 3-4 tbsp. butter.  Add Sesame seeds and Almonds to toast.  Set aside and cool. 
Mix soy sauce, vinegar, sugar and oil in sauce pan and bring to boil.  Boil for 1-2 or until sugar has completely dissolved.  Place in separate container and chill. 
Just before serving, add the toasted noodle mix and the dressing to the coleslaw mix. 
**I usually double this recipe.

  1. I have a recipe similar to this that uses Rice Vinegar. Makes me think of picnics ... ahhh can't wait!!

  2. I am going to try it with Rice Vinegar next time I make it. I made this recently during our very long winter and it did make me think of warmer weather.
