HOW TO PRESERVE FALL LEAVES

Fall Leaves Used to Decorate

Fall Colors are in full bloom here and I love to take advantage.  I picked up a few colorful leaves.

I decided to preserve them.  I got out the wax paper and my iron.

I put down a brown paper bag first then I cut a large piece of wax paper.  I placed the wax paper on top of the brown bag.

I carefully placed the leaves on the wax paper then cut ANOTHER piece of wax paper and carefully lay it on top of the leaves.

I used a hot iron to seal the wax on the leaves.

Peel back the top layer of wax paper to reveal the leaves.  Gently peel the leaves from the bottom piece of wax paper,

BEAUTIFUL!

I will use these leaves for my Thanksgiving Table.  I plan to use them as place cards.  A Sharpie (any color you like) was used to CAREFULLY write names on.

So Pretty!!
