PINEAPPLE AND RED PEPPER CHEESE BALL

GREAT CHEESE BALL FOR THE HOLIDAYS AND ANYTIME!



Here is the recipe...



Here are the ingredients: 




Chop the nuts 


Dice the Peppers finely

Soften Cream Cheese and mix til smooth

Add in the rest of the ingredients (keep 1 cup of the chopped nuts out) 


I cut the mixture in half.  Lay plastic wrap out and some of the chopped nuts then lay the mix on top.  Use the plastic wrap to shape and get the chopped nuts all around the ball.

I then put the entire thing into a bowl to shape even more 


This is how I bring it to parties.  1 Large platter with crackers and 1 small plate that I put the cheese ball on.  I use clear tape on the bottom of the small plate to keep in place



Pineapple and Pepper Cheese Ball (This makes 2 Cheese Balls)
2 packages (8 oz. each) Cream Cheese Softened
1 can (8 oz) Crushed Pineapple (Drained Very Well)
2 Cups Chopped Pecans
1/4 Cup finely Chopped Red Pepper (or Green Pepper)
1 Tbsp. Season Salt 

Beat Cream Cheese until smooth.  Gradually stir in crushed pineapple, 1 cup chopped nuts, red (or green) pepper and season salt.  Shape into a ball and roll into remaining nuts.  Wrap in plastic wrap and Refrigerate until well chilled.
